'Miss Jo'

Having danced from the age of 2, since graduating from the University of Cambridge with a Master’s degree in Psychology, Joanna has become a fully registered dance teacher with the Associated Board of Dance (ABD).

She has over 20 years’ combined experience in Dance and Inclusive teaching, including roles at DanceEast, Louise Kate Dance, Project 21, Suffolk schools and training with StopGap Dance Company.


Joanna currently teaches with and choreographs for Louise Kate Dance, and is knowledgeable in Ballet, Tap, Modern/Jazz, Lyrical, Acrobatics, Contemporary, Creative and Rock’n’Roll dancing.


She also tutors, cover-tutors and assists in classes for DanceEast, notably ‘Springboard’ for individuals with additional needs, plus teaches Musical Theatre for individuals with Down's Syndrome, at Project 21.


Joanna is a Qualified Autism Movement Therapist, and Dance for Parkinson’s practitioner.


Her other areas of expertise include:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorders

  • British Sign Language (Level 6)

  • Dementia

  • Mental Health

  • The therapeutic benefits of dance and movement


Clients of Joanna’s value her enthusiastic, conscientious attitude. She prides herself on having a caring, sensitive nature, with the ability to make connections with even the most withdrawn individuals.


Joanna holds current DBS, Insurance, Safeguarding and First Aid certificates, and is trained in ‘Safe and Effective Dance Practice’.


Sophie has been dancing since she was 4 years old and currently dances at 'Louise Kate Dance'. Her other interests include singing and musical theatre - her favourite musical being Les Misérables.

Pet(s): A cat called 'Paddy'

Favourite Food: Chicken (especially on Pizza!)

Favourite Colour: Lilac

Perform in the West End


Sienna started dancing aged 5 and currently dances at 'Louise Kate Dance'. She also enjoys singing and acting. Her favourite animal is a dog...and she recently managed to convince her parents to get a puppy!

Sibling(s): A brother who is very good at gymnastics

Emily has been dancing since the age of 8 and has danced at 'Louise Kate Dance' for over 5 years now. Her other interests include playing the piano, guitar and Ukelele!

Pet(s): 2 cats called 'Billy' & 'Benny' and 2 dogs called 'Louie' & 'Lacey'

Emily started dancing aged 3 and currently dances at 'Louise Kate Dance'. Her interests include the environment, learning BSL and playing the Cello. She also loves Art - so much so, she will soon be studying it at Uni!
